Position Description:

We have multiple open positions as part of a team working on a government project to participate in an entire software development lifecycle. Candidates will be part of the development team operating in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Positions range from programming, database, software test, configuration management, etc.

Skills Required:

• Primary development languages desired for this position include Java and C#.
• Additional experience with XML, XSL, web services, Oracle, SQL; developing custom SharePoint work flows;and developing InfoPath forms with code behind using C#
• Software Testing
• Configuration Management
• Strong time management skills, prioritization abilities, and ability to execute ownership of issues and tasks.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must work well in a team environment that consists of both government and other contractors.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.

Skills Preferred: This individual should be highly-motivated, able to work with little management direction, must work well in a team environment that consists of both government and other contractors.

Travel Requirements:Some travel may be required.

Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a government security clearance.

Education and Years of Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field and a range of 2-20 years directly related experience.

Position Description:

• Become a part of NovaTech’s Business Development team working on proposals, presentations, and other documents.

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word 2007 and able to edit complex documents and manage tables of content and figures, embedded objects and graphics, font styles, customized headers and footers, and advanced page/paragraph formatting options. Must be able to use track changes to incorporate document changes from multiple authors. Must be able to develop document templates that will be used by authoring teams.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and able to edit complex presentations that will include embedded objects and images. Must be able to manage styles, themes, and slide layout options.

Skills Preferred:

• This individual should be highly-motivated, able to work with little management direction and must work well in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Publisher 2007 desired. Ability to compose brochures, newsletters, flyers, and advertisements and similar documents that include text and graphics. Able to manage layout options, style settings, and other design features.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator desired. Ability to develop professional graphics from pen & ink mock ups of charts, graphs, logical process flows, and organizational charts.

We are seeking a Network Engineer to provide support for the Defense Intelligence Agency at Bolling Air force Base in, Washington, DC.

Duties& Responsibilities:

-Setup, configure, and support internal and/or external networks.

-Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.

-Troubleshoot network performance issues.

-Create and maintain a disaster recovery plan.

-Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.

-Provide technical support and guidance to users.

-Formulate/define system scope and objectives for assigned projects.

-Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

-Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment

capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years Network Engineer experience required.

- Formulate/define system scope and objectives for assigned projects.

- Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.

- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.

- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

- Instruct, direct and check the work of other systems analysis and programming personnel

- Responsible for quality assurance review.

- May be responsible for project completion and user satisfaction.

- Research, collect, and report information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment.

- Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers.

- Responsibilities also include providing equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales force, and acting as technical liaison to the sales team.

- Will be working with: JAVA, Perl, SunSPARC, Solaris, APACHE, TOMCAT, COLISEUM, STONEGHOST, Oracle, SQL

Requirements:

- Minimum2 years of programming or systems analysis experience.

- Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.

- Minimum2 years coding experience in JAVA with web pages.

- SQL knowledge required.

We are seeking a Sybase DBA to provide support for the Defense Intelligence Agency at Bolling Air force Base in, Washington, DC.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Formulate and define relational database scope and objectives.

-Under general supervision, provide the following duties: maintaining, administrating,

backup, restore, reporting, and general maintenance of a specific relational database.

- Administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.

-Implement data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes.

-Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of programming or database administration experience required.
