Regional Hospital – Network Support

NovaTech consultants provide long-term assistance to our clients that span multiple individual projects. For a Regional Hospital located in Southwestern Ohio, NovaTech consultants support a number of IT initiatives. This client upgraded their network from a small stand-alone Ethernet switch to an enterprise-class chassis that provided redundant power supplies and management modules and enabled the client to use Virtual LANs (VLANs) to segregate network traffic coming from a new imaging lab from the remainder of the hospital network. NovaTech consultants also upgraded the hospital’s firewall to provide Virtual Private Network (VPN) capability that allows software vendors, hospital staff, and external partners to securely access resources inside the trusted network. VPNs were also established to support remote transcriptions that enabled the hospital to drop expensive dedicated phone lines. Our consultants continue to support these efforts.

Mid-Sized Manufacturing Client - Infrastructure Maintenance

NovaTech consultants perform a variety of services for out clients in the Mid-Sized commercial market.  We have vast experience in the Manufacturing market space.  For a manufacturer in Cincinnati, Ohio, NovaTech modernized their antiquated IT environment for purposes of preparing for a new ERP/MRP application.  NovaTech replaced their servers and workstations as well as rewired their existing network environment.  NovaTech worked closely with the ERP/MRP supplier to ensure project implementation and business continuity. NovaTech enabled them to take advantage of modern technology that was before unavailable to them, such as secure remote access, E-mail standardization, external E-mail access, VPN and Disaster Recovery planning.  NovaTech consultants also work on a daily basis with them to maintain their current infrastructure, in addition to helping them with their next generation of software and hardware acquisitions.

NovaTech has assisted numerous small companies in taking advantage of Technology and services not available to this market space in the past.  A company located in Fairfield, Ohio is one of our clients who takes advantage of complete outsourcing services offered by Nova Technology Solutions.  NovaTech assists them in their complete IT maintenance and support, server and desktop maintenance, product research for shop floor automation, Data Security, and Secure Remote access utilizing VPN technologies.
